Infant massage classes
Baby massage is so much more than just the strokes. Over 4-5 weeks, you will learn:
- Preparation for baby massage (environment, oils, etc.)
- Understanding your baby’s cues and body language
- Relaxation techniques
- The complete baby massage sequence as developed by the International Association of Infant Massage
- Massage techniques (positioning, massage pressure, rate and rhythm)
- Gentle movements for your baby
- A routine for the relief of Colic and gas
- Ideas for your growing child
There is also time to discuss related topics such as:
- Bonding & Attachment
- Crying
- Sleeping
- Stress & relaxation
- Or any other topic of interest to the group
Classes are best suited for babies who are not yet crawling; however they can be tailored to older babies.

The group course is held over five weekly sessions of 60-90 minutes. Classes are kept small to ensure you receive the attention you need. Cost = $150 including a bottle of massage oil, parents’ handbook, light refreshments and certificate upon completion.
The private course is held over four weekly sessions of 60-90 minutes. Classes are held in the comfort of your own home. Cost = $200 including a bottle of massage oil, parents’ handbook, light refreshments and certificate upon completion. A surcharge to cover petrol and travel time may be required if your home is more than 10km away.

Krystyna is a mother of two boys and a Certified Infant Massage Instructor with the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM).
The IAIM program is the only infant massage training available in Australia that has a strong body of research and evaluation conducted by independent medical and scientific researchers. The IAIM course is the only infant massage course which has national qualification recognition. Krystyna has a current Working with Children check, Police record check and level 2 First Aid certificate.
